      Hi Littlemidge,

I think cancer research is important considering 1:2 men and 1:3 women get it. Cancer research is also very varied, not only in terms of cancer types, but also in terms of what you can study. This can be the tumor cells themselves, the blood vessels surrounding them, the access of drugs to tumors, the interaction between tumor cells and their environment etc. I am working with radiation to mostly image as many different types of processes I can to aid earlier diagnosis and help get patients better treatments.
