      The salary depends on years of experience and where you are working. After a PhD you tend to earn between 28-40k/year at an academic institution.

      Currently £32k per year (+ some overtime here and there). All the NHS pay scales are available for the public to see (I’ve put the link below), since it is all paid for by taxes! For healthcare scientists you start at the bottom of band 6 and work up.

      To make it simple i get about 2000 in my account every month ! But i don’t pay for pension right now. Otherwise it would be around 1850 a month

      There is definitely money in Science if that’s what you’re asking! I think I need to invent something amazing to break into the major big bucks though!
