After school, I first did an undergrad (4 years) and then a PhD (3 years) so 7 years in total.

I did an undergrad for 4 years, a masters for 1 year and am currently completing ‘on the job’ training to gain Clinical Science Registration for 3 years, so an 8 year total! But worth it though 🙂

5 years for undergraduate masters in physics.
4 years for my PhD in nuclear physics and 2 years (part-time) for my masters in medical physics.

To become a registered medical physicist you will need a masters in medical physics.. so I had to do an extra two years on top of what I was doing! It was part-time so it went quickly.

3 years doing my physics degree, then 4.5 years doing clinical scientist training (which included a master’s degree and other bits and bobs) so 7.5 years in total!
