• Question: how comes when babies are being formed in the women it takes 9 months but isnt 9 months when its born?

      I agree with you! I always debated that the age of a person should be always be from the time of conception! This is just another historical thing!

      It’s because they couldn’t say what the exact day of conception was back in the days (actually i don’t now if we can calculate or estimate now) and so you wouldn’t know when to celebrate your ConceptionDay 🙂 :). Instead it was just easier to name a Birthday 🙂

      Ya think it’s an easier date to be exact about. Some babies are born earlier or later than expected, marking the birth date rather than the conception date saves having to do some calculations!

      And how come you are zero for a whole year before you become one, but usually we start counting from 1??? It’s just how people have defined things, but it does make sense to count your age from birth rather than conception as it’s difficult to know exactly when you were conceived but quite easy to count from the day somebody is born!
