I would really like to think not! Certainly war has wiped out more people than anyone could have imagined. But I think our negligence in caring for the environment and our own health may have more of an overall impact.

As an optimist I’d like to hope not! There’s a chance that artificial intelligence (so computers becoming conscious) could end human existence, as could an impact from a large asteroid. Another possibility is an epidemic from an antibiotic resistant bug and global warming is also a threat to the population! In fact there are lots of scary possibilities when you think about it, and some scientists do study this. If we haven’t left the Earth by the time the sun runs out of fuel then life on Earth would stop, however that’s a long way away.

      What a cheery question!

I don’t think so. There might come a time when a large population of humans is wiped out because of human aggression but not totally. I would think that something out of our control is more probable.

I doubt all human existence will be ended by humans as evolutionary-speaking we are programmed to pass on our genes/info. I think that disease or famine, initiated by lack of care for the environment, will be our downfall.
