Hey Saffron!
(I know this is irrelevant but I recently learnt that saffron is actually worth more per gram than gold! Fun fact 🙂 )
Anyway, back to business! My work environment is very dynamic. I work in a hospital with 5 other MRI physicists. It’s nice to be part of a team because there is always someone there to bounce problems or ideas off. We cover clinical duties but also get the opportunity to carry out our own research, which is really great.
One of the key things about science is that it is never static. There are always new developments and new ideas to work on or implement into the clinical practice. That is very much acknowledged in my workplace and we are constantly trying to update our protocols to the latest and greatest way of doing things. It never stays the same for long, which is exciting!
