• Question: Does chewing gum stay in your stomach for 7 years?

      Nope ! Apparently it only takes a couple of days to come out ! That doesn’t mean it’s ok to swallow chewing gum! (I do it all the time :/)

      Nope, the digestive system does its thing on gum the same as every other food. No one needs a minty fresh stomach though so I wouldn’t bother putting your body through all the extra work needed to break it down!

      I really doubt it – your stomach is pretty concentrated acid after all! I do remember it being one of those things people said to you at school if you did accidentally swallow gum though. After checking wiki there’s even a bit of an article about it there which dismisses it directly!
