We (as in all of us here), won’t get to go to another galaxy as the technology required won’t be developed in our lifetimes, but maybe far in the future other humans will. Although maybe it will be so far in the future that it won’t be humans as we are know but a new separate species of advanced humans!
The next galaxy is so far away that light takes millions of years to get to us, so we are seeing the galaxy as it was millions of years ago. If you think about how fast light travels (it takes just a few minutes from the Sun to Earth) then that gives you a good idea of how far away even our nearest galaxy is!
Without any obvious evidence, I’m fairly sure there is other life in the universe, as there are so many other stars out there with so many other planets that the odds are we aren’t alone. Finding each other is the tricky bit!
I think we won’t be able to get to another galaxy for a couple of at least another century. As the technology is evolving i just can’t see it reaching that point any time soon.
I think there might be other form of life in space. Microorganisms definitely !
Don’t think we could survive going to another Galaxy they are too far away! And yes I think there is some other life form out there even if it’s a blob of purple sparkly slime!
I’m a bit late to the game here – I agree with all the other answers! It will never happen in our lifetimes unfortunately, but I think technology will eventually be advanced enough to make it possible.
