I don’t personally. It’s not a nice concept, but I can see why it is sometimes necessary. Animal testing can be very important in certain drug trials.

No I don’t. The only thing I test on is plastic boxes willed with liquid!

I do. I don’t enjoy it but as long as you don’t enjoy it then it means you are giving the animals the respect they deserve.

In my work in a hospital and don’t do any animal testing directly, however almost all of the treatments and scans we do are tested on animals first. This is still a legal requirement in the UK, and for good safety reasons. Imagine testing something on humans first that had not been tested on animals and it went badly wrong – the first thing a court would ask you is why didn’t you test it on something else first? That said the UK quite rightly has some of the strictest laws on animal testing in the world, and it tries to reduce the need where possible. One of my friends is doing a project which is looking to replace animal testing with computer simulations, which I think is a development that will become more and more common, so hopefully in the future animals won’t be needed at all. I think any animal testing for cosmetic or other non-medical reasons is wrong.
