Question: Did you enjoy school? and why?

I did! I was on the basketball team and got to take about a day per week off during the middle of the year to go and play matches. That was my favourite thing about school!

I absolutely hated German and English class but that was more because I wasn’t great at them than that they were actually that bad. I loved maths and science classes though. I used to have competitions with my friends to see who could get all the maths homework done before the end of class, so I think in all my time at school I only ever did maths homework at home during my final year when things got a little harder!

There were good parts and annoying parts of school looking back, but now that I’m out working the thing I miss most is having so many friends about all the time – school and university are really great for this!
